Accommodations

After your journey of discovery our guesthouse is a comfortable place to come home to.

The Maye Meye guesthouse is situated at the edge of the village of Abene, surrounded by nature and very close to the sea. We don’t offer luxury, you will in fact go back to basics. What we do offer is a relaxed atmosphere, warm and caring service, excellent food and an enthusiastic crew.

Rooms

The guesthouse has four rooms, one of which has its own shower and toilet, the others share sanitation. There is a choice between single or double beds. We have running water and are working on electricity by way of a solar panel.

Garden

The half acre garden sports a large selection of trees and plant life. If you’re lucky you can pick mangoes, oranges and bananas right off the tree! You will find many comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the environment.

Boetoemaboe

In the Boetoemaboe, an original Diola construction you can get together for companionship and easygoing conversation.

A trip to guesthouse Maye Meye offers a wonderful vacation in Abene by the sea for a low price. We offer breakfast included or full room and board. Backpackers are welcomed, for them too, our low budget prices are a big bonus.
